Click on the "sign in" link at the top of the forum homepage to go to the main log in page. Once that page opens click on the "I've forgotten my password" link right under the box where you would enter your password and fill out the form (you may enter either your username, if you know it, or the email address you used when you signed up for the forum), submit it and the forum will send you an email that will include a link to a confirmation page to reset your password. The forum will then send you an email with your username, and a new password. Now go back to the forum and log in with your username and the password the forum sent you in the email (remember they are case sensitive, so if your username uses any upper case letters, make sure you enter it that way).

 

After you are logged in, click on "My Controls" at the top right of the page, and in the left column under "options" click on "change password". Enter the password the forum gave you in the email above in the top box, then enter any password you are sure you can remember in the two boxes below it. Then click on the "change my password" button below the boxes. Make note of your password so you will remember it in the future.

 

Note - If you no longer have access to the email address that you used to sign up for the forum, you will not be able to reset your password. If that should happen you will need to contact the forum administrator, while you are at your computer, so that he can reset your password for you.
