Click on the "sign in" link at the top of the forum homepage to go to the main log in page. Once that page opens click on the "I've forgotten my password" link right under the box where you would enter your password and fill out the form (you may enter either your username, if you know it, or the email address you used when you signed up for the forum), submit it and the forum will send you an email that will include a link to a confirmation page to reset your password. The forum will then send you an email with your username, and a new password. Now go back to the forum and log in with your username and the password the forum sent you in the email (remember they are case sensitive, so if your username uses any upper case letters, make sure you enter it that way). After you are logged in, click on "My Controls" at the top right of the page, and in the left column under "options" click on "change password". Enter the password the forum gave you in the email above in the top box, then enter any password you are sure you can remember in the two boxes below it. Then click on the "change my password" button below the boxes. Make note of your password so you will remember it in the future. Note - If you no longer have access to the email address that you used to sign up for the forum, you will not be able to reset your password. If that should happen you will need to contact the forum administrator, while you are at your computer, so that he can reset your password for you.

Go to "My controls" at the top of the page and then click on the change email address link in the column on the left side. fill out the appropriate blanks and submit it.

The user name and password on your card are only used for access to the member portion of our web sight They do not work for the forums. To use the forums you need to register for them. To do that go to the forum and click on register at the top of the page, then follow the intructions. The forum will ask you to pick a user name and password, these can be anything of your choosing. After you register the forum will send you an email to confirm your registration. As soon as you click on the registration confirmation link in the email your registration for that forum is complete. Now when you want to go to the forums you just come here and log in using the username and password you chose when you registered. Previously you could read the 50 BMG General Discussion forum without logging in. Because of a recent security problem I had to disable that feature. So you must register for the forum and loggin to use it. Randy
