Upper is for sale separately but may also be sold in combination with lower as pictured. Pictured with SHF single shot lower with ALS billet stock which has been modified for use with ALS upper. Increased power hammer spring and heavy hammer installed. Conversion weight only - 35 lbs OAL Assembled - 59 inches OAL upper only - 50 inches Finish/Coating is CERAKOTE gun coating Barrel 33 inch hand lapped PAC-NOR match 1 in 15 twist Bolt CNC Machined two locking lugs 1 1⁄4 AUS tempered Action is CNC machined from solid bar stock All ALS 50 DTC conversions utilize hand lapped PAC-NOR barrels. Upon ordering the costumer may choose there own chamber. Match chambers have proven time and again capable of 1⁄2 MOA accuracy with proper hand loaded ammunition. Match chambers are best with hand loads. Talon loose pack, not linked has been ok. Military chambers are more forgiving on which ammunition is shot, but may only be capable of 1 MOA with match ammunition. We suggest US manufactured ammunition Stay away from linked and foreign stuff. The solid billet scope mount is designed to provide enough room for the largest objective lenses of any commercial or military telescopic sight. We offer 30 MOA as standard. However, 50 MOA or higher are available upon request for those extra long shots. The scope base attaches with six 8-32 hold down screws. Our scope base is compatible with any standard weaver style rings. Our heavy duty free floating barrel shroud insures extra accuracy for all those long distance shots. It allows the barrel to freely resonate during projectile discharge, which makes a difference in attaining extreme accuracy. A REAL BOLT ACTION RIFLE A smooth bolt action allows for a quick reload. There is no need to unhinge the 50 DTC upper from the lower to load or unload ammunition. An empty will extract and eject on the ground just like a standard hunting rifle. Scope base shown here with built in optional level A LOW IMPULSE MUZZLE BRAKE Engineered to provide a lower recoil impulse than most other 50 caliber muzzle brakes to avoid shoulder joint damage and allow better shot to shot recovery. Less recoil than your 30'06 deer rifle and best of all no shoulder brusing.
